Outdoor Education

Opportunities for outdoor education is a key component that will be assessed and prioritized in the Plan. The Plan will coordinate with other statewide efforts to increase the opportunities for learning in nature to foster stewards and health of all New Mexicans.

The Outdoor Education Focus Group hosted a series of three virtual meetings in February 2021 centered on unique topics of interest to this group. Information about those meetings and summarized notes can be found below:
